PRIVATE OBSTETRIC CARE
As an Obstetric Specialist, Mr Ali's aim is to provide you with a bespoke Consultant based service in comfortable and relaxed settings with an unhurried and open approach to managing all aspects your pregnancy. You will have the convenience of tailoring your antenatal assessments and scans to a time that is convenient to your schedule. You will have a very personal service with direct access to Mr Ali by phone (not via a secretary, hospital switchboard or bleep-holder!).The care you receive will start from the time you book until your 6 week postnatal visit.
Your initial Booking visit requires a slightly longer appointment to assess you and your pregnancy (typically 30-60 min.s). At this point we can start to plan how best to manage your pregnancy and to discuss any particular wishes or concerns you may have.
Subsequent Antenatal consultations can be tailored to your requirements and can be as long or as short as you need. Usually visits will occur monthly until 32-34 weeks, then 2 weekly until 38weeks, after which weekly appt.s until delivery.Each such consultation will include:
- An opportunity to discuss any issues or concerns you have
- A blood pressure and urine check
- A quick-look ultrasound scan to assess the well-being of the baby
Mr Ali will also personally undertake all your routine pregnancy scans (dating, 1st Trimester NT screening, anomaly & growth scans)which are included in your complete Obstetric package price. If you wish to have a free 3D/4D scan this can also be offered as part of your complete Obstetric Care package or as a standalone scan for a fee.
Finally you can feel safe in the knowledge that Mr Ali will be personally present to manage the delivery of your baby (whether it be a normal, assisted or operative delivery).
Mr Ali will also be available for review until your final 6 week post-natal visit.
