Professional Profile

I am a consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist working jointly within
the NHS and private sector.

I have 14 years of experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology all within
the UK and am a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians &
Gynaecologist. As a wholly UK trained specialist I have worked in 4
eminent London Teaching Hospitals during my training years:

  • -King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
  • -Royal Free Hospital NHS Trust
  • -St. Mary's NHS Trust
  • -St. George's Healthcare NHS Trust

I was appointed as a Consutant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in 2003 at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital NHS Trust. I also hold admitting rights for my Private Patients at the BMI Blackheath Hospital. Both hospitals are in close proximity to Canary Wharf and the Greenwich Peninsula.

Specialist Training and Areas of Interest

I became a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists in 1997. In 2003 after completing a specialist training rotation at King's College Hospital I attained CCST status (Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training).

During my training years I spent 2 years as a Research Fellow on the Fetal Medicine Unit at the Royal Free Hospital NHS Trust. It was here that I developed skills in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound.

My research interests involved assessing the effect of Thrombophilic Disorders (excessive blood clotting tendencies) on pregnancy outcomes.

I now offer private ultrasound services to patients and other Gynaecologists. Appointments for Fetal / Obstetric and Pelvic scans can normally be offered within a few days. Women expericencing early pregnancy problems such as pain or bleeding can normally be accomodated for a scan assessment the same day.
